Surveyor / Weighbridge  

  • Job Responsibilities


  • On-Site Measurements
    Perform measurements of crude oil, intermediate products, and finished oil products, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with operational standards.

  • Proficiency with Measurement Equipment
    Skillfully operate equipment (e.g., flowmeters, level gauges, measuring tapes) to measure volume, density, temperature, and other parameters of crude oil and oil products.

  • Supervision
    Monitor third-party measurement activities on crude tankers, oil product tankers, and HRC shore tanks, as well as ATG calibration and tank capacity calibration of shore tanks.

  • Tank Inventory and Data Recording
    Conduct monthly inventory checks of storage tanks, verify stock quantities, and record the data accurately.

  • Inspection of Utilities
    Conduct inspections of electricity, water, and steam consumption in the HRC plant.

  • Documentation and Reporting
    Complete measurement record forms, daily reports, and logs as required.

  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
    Operate measurement equipment correctly to ensure precision and proper functioning.
    Perform routine inspections and cleaning of measurement equipment, and report any malfunctions promptly for repair.

  • Calibration and Repair Support
    Collaborate with the instrument team to complete equipment calibration and maintenance.
    Report abnormal metering data and assist in investigating the causes.

  • Measurement Substitution and Work Compliance
    When the weighbridge operator is on leave, the inspector will take over weighbridge duties and comply with other measurement tasks assigned by the Department Head or Supervisor.

  • Safety Compliance
    Strictly adhere to safety operating procedures to ensure accident-free metering operations.
    Identify and report safety hazards promptly and take appropriate measures.

  • Team Collaboration
    Assist the team leader in completing measurement tasks and managing equipment.
    Cooperate with relevant departments in data analysis, statistics, and process improvement initiatives.

  • Other Duties
    Perform other measurement-related tasks assigned by the Supervisor and Head of Department

    • Job Requirements

    • Minimum diploma or certification in a technical field.
    • At least 1+ years of experience in measurement or surveying roles.
    • Job Knowledge:Expertise in measurement systems and protocols.
    • Skills:Attention to detail, data recording, and technical troubleshooting.
    • Competency:Strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
