Role


Duties & Responsibilities
1. To response in fire, rescue, oil spill and medical emergency.
2. To prepare fire prevention finding report and monitor to close action.
3. To prepare shift report, emergency report and drill report in timely manners.
4. Ensure all firefighting equipment in HRC are inspected, tested and undergo preventative maintenance.
5. Plan and execute the fire hydrostatic test hose.
6. As a team member for FIT team during drills/emergency.
7. Act as superintendent on FT 1 & FT 3 and to ensure they are in good condition.
8. To report any breakdown of supervised ER vehicle to FiRM Team Leader.
9. To report the unavailability of supervised ER vehicle to STL and to record in Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) form at CCB subsequently establish the mitigation plan.
10. To execute emergency drills.
11. To execute daily inspection on supervised ER vehicles.
12. To execute monthly inspection of Fire Fighting Equipment in HRC.
13. To document the FFE Inspection report and to submit to FTL for record keeping.
14. To execute basic Fire Fighting training for Fire Intervention Team (FIT)- Ops, FIRM and Contractors, based on demand from the stakeholders.
15. To conduct daily safety assurance walk on SCE in refinery area.
16. To report significant finding from assurance walk to FTL.
17. To ensure ER equipment and vehicles are inspected and in readiness for emergency under responsibility of FiRM Team Leader.
18. In respond to emergency, responsible as Fire Truck driver (emergency core role).
19. Responsible as a FiRM response pager holder (24 hours). Upon notified via Emergency Messaging System (pager) in emergencies of Tier 2 and above, on- duty FiRM personnel shall respond immediately, whereas, all off-duty FiRM personnel shall respond to the emergency within 30 minutes. Fail to do so will subjected to consequences. Exemption is applied to personnel who is on leave (with approval from Head of ER and Security).

Job Requirements
1. Wide Experience in Emergency Response namely, Fire, Medical, Rescue, HAZMAT and Oil Spill.
2. Possess certifications and qualified as emergency responder in Fire, Medical, Rescue and HAZMAT.
