Role


Duties & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for providing Technical Support to Catalytic Reforming unit (CCR) and Hydrogen Manufacturing unit.
2. To support operations & Planning team in setting and meeting the refining operating weekly & Monthly plan.
3. To ensure effective process monitoring, Troubleshooting & Optimization to meet unit KPIs i.e Product Quality, Yield, energy & efficient operation.
4. To address reliability issues & perform Process trouble shooting & de-bottlenecking in the assigned units.
5. Identify and implement specific projects to improve the reliability, integrity, efficiency, operability, capacity, and margin (BIP) for the Plant.
6. Provide process and operational inputs into Process Safety reviews, commissioning, and performance test-runs of all Plant Changes.
7. Take on the role of Basic Data Coordinator, working closely with other relevant technologists and the CE&S team to ensure good integrity of basic data being used in the LP to steer economic planning and operations of the refinery.
8. Lead/participate in providing necessary input into incident investigations and problem solving.
9. Responsible for providing start and commissioning support, reviewing standard operating procedures and Participate in PSSR.

Job Requirements
1. Experienced Chemical Engineer
2. Minimum 5 years of work experience in Oil & Gas industry (preferred) or process industry.
3. Leadership and team player skills
4. HSSE-JCP skills according to HRC standards.
5. Functional competency according to Functional Job Competency Profile (JCP).
6. Exposure to Reforming Technology or hydrogen manufacturing technologies.
7. Conversant with Process Simulation & analytical tools.
