Role


Duties & Responsibilities
1. Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with agreed Health, Safety and Environment practices and procedures as outlined in the Refinery H.S.E. Management System.
2. Provide process technical support to other disciplines and functions, for issues and work items related to refinery utilities system.
3. Development of improvement initiatives (cost, performance, reliability).
4. Provide problem solving & optimization support to operations team.
5. Act as the primary source of technical information on the plant design & operation.
6. Continual improvement in safety, efficiency, cost and production.
7. Troubleshoot and improve process control related matters.
8. Works on process safety related matters.
9. Fulfill role as refinery energy focal point. Work to develop energy master plan to optimize refinery energy consumption and improve refinery EII. Drives refinery team towards target EII.

Job Requirements
1. Degree in Chemical Engineering.
2. Experienced Chemical Engineer with minimum 3 years of work experience in the oil/chemical refining industry.
3. HSSE-JCP skills according to HRC standards.
4. Functional competency according to Functional Job Competency Profile (JCP).
